Google Wallpaper Cease & Desist :(

Google Wallpaper Shutdown So Google has shutdown it's first Google Maps offshoot, "Google Wallpaper", for violating the usage policy. Bummer... I bet that will follow with a dozen other great Google Maps sites being shutdown (only for 3 dozen more to pop up).

With that said - the way Google handled the situation is remarkable. You can read the polite & downright friendly quasi cease & desist at what used to be Google Wallpaper.
